Statistics show that bullying is becoming a huge problem. It has existed in neighborhoods and schools for centuries. Now it exists online and is often referred to as cyber bullying. Almost everything we do today is done online. We’re now communicating and dating online through social media websites. It’s taken the place of face-to-face communicating, thus making bullying more challenging to identify. Cyber bullying has generated a lot of media attention as it has led to many cases of suicide and death due to the constant cyber assaults in the form of bashing, rumors and hazing toward individuals and/or groups.
